If you tend to drag your toes when you walk, prematurely wearing out the tips of your soles, Toe Plates are the way to go. What we do is cut out a notch at the tips of the sole and insert a metal plate that will keep your soles from wearing out super fast.
A common question is. "won't I hear the clicking while I walk?" and the answer is no. Unless you are tip-toeing around you won't hear the metal plate since it is countersunk in the sole.
We offer 3 options:
Lulu Tips: These are the silver half-circle tips. we have a few sizes ranging from 2''-3'', so just measure the tips of your soles to make sure they will fit. If they don't fit, you will have to choose the Custom Tip Option.
Triumph Toe Plates: These are brass plated and don't go straight across. Again these are brass plated, so once you walk a little bit, you will see the steel underneath. if you want solid brass, choose the Custom Tip Option
Custom Tips: These are designed to fit any size and shape tip. We start with a solid Brass plate 1/8'' thick, shape it to size, and drill out the holes.
Please note, these prices are based on new or like new shoes and boots. If your soles are worn down too much, they will require a resole before installing the toe plates
How Does This Work?
If you're looking to get Toe Plates installed on your boots or shoes, simply choose which one you want and complete the purchase to lock your spot in line. Then box up your shoes and ship them to our shop with your name, number, and return address. Once we get your boots in, we will call you for a one-on-one consultation to finalize the details and get your shoes in line. Please note we estimate a 2-3 week turnaround time from the date of your repair consultation.

What to do after your purchase?
After you make your purchase, all you have to do is box up your shoes along with your name, number, and return address. Ship them to our shop located at 1265 Rock Springs Rd Smyrna Tn 37167. For the business name use "The Shoe Man". Once we receive your shoes, we will contact you for a one on one repair consultation to go over the final details and get you in line!
What if I change my mind?
If you haven't shipped out your shoes yet, just contact us and we will issue the refund. If after your repair consultation you choose to not move forward, we will then ship your item back and issue a refund minus shipping fees.
Possible Upcharges
Prices are based on new or like new boots & shoes. If your sole is worn down too much, we will have to charge for new soles and heels.
